I wrote this in conjunction with a series I shared so it needs to be read within that context. I could possibly write up some of the Biblical references but what would probably work best for you is to read through any one of the Gospels with a new eye, considering if Jesus was really that gentle and nice like we so often picture him. I think you’ll find that he consistently pressed against his followers, annoyed the religious experts of his day, and continues to be kind yet not nice to us.
